When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms

Our contact form records the Internet Service Provider (IP) address for anti-spam purposes, and of course your email address and any other information such as a phone number which you have included. This information is sent directly to peter@rpr626.co.uk where it may be stored securely in that mailbox unless deleted. No information is stored on the website or in any other database.

Their only use by this website is to record visitor numbers and popular pages, This service is provided by Statcounter who also temporarily record the IP address and basic hardware details (such as browser, screen size, pc, tablet or mobile) which are used solely to ensure the website is visible by the majority of visitors.
